Vince is a leading designer, manufacturer, and wholesaler of luxury apparel staples for women. Founded in 2001 by Rea Laccone and Christopher LaPolice, the Company has built a collection of shirts, sweaters, tees, pants, skirts, shorts, and jackets that are sought after by fashion-forward customers. Based in Southern California, Vince produces contemporary clothing known for its close and modern fits, simple construction quality, and striking color palettes. 

Popular among fashion-conscious women, the Company has achieved an impressive penetration in the U.S. and is growing in major international markets. Vince is sold in over 400 stores including at selected specialty stores and luxury retailers such as Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdale’s. 

The Sage Group was engaged by CRL Group, owner of the Vince brand, to pursue the sale of the company. The transaction closed in October 2006 with the Kellwood Company acquiring the assets of CRL Group. Laccone will continue as CEO and LaPolice will continue as the president of Vince.
