Trina Turk is a distinctive designer, marketer, and retailer of a full collection of high-end, contemporary women’s and men’s apparel and accessories. Founded in 1995 by Trina Turk, the designer wanted to create apparel with a whimsical point of view inspired by Southern California resorts like Palm Springs. The Los Angeles- based company’s collection includes skirts, shirts, sweaters, swimwear, jackets, trousers, dresses, coats, and sunglasses. 

The brand has maintained a strong market presence by designing and marketing apparel and accessories of the highest aesthetic and material quality. Trina Turk also has devote celebrity followers such as Jennifer Aniston, Mischa Barton, and Eva Longoria. The Company has retail stores in Los Angeles and New York as well as distribution in boutiques and upscale department stores as Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales. 

Trina Turk engaged The Sage Group to explore M&A opportunities in the marketplace. Ultimately, the Company chose to sell a minority interest to KarpReilly, an investment firm based in Greenwich, Connecticut.  The Company plans on opening up new stores and expand and add product categories such as footwear.
